Travel ball is designed for kids ready to advance past typical recreational ball and are no longer challenged in their recreational league. A benefit from our league compared to most, is that we bring in trained professionals to teach and train the players the correct way and prepare them for whats coming next. Two 2 hour practices teaching the team how to work together and master the skills each individual player needs to improve on. 

Travel ball is a more competitive league than typical recreation ball. If you are familiar with cobra/all stars at babe Ruth, it is similar to that. We spend several weeks each month preparing for a tournament. Tournament fees are included in your monthly costs and we will work our way to adding more/moving to hire up competitions.

Our team is somewhat different from others due to the fact we have a hired coach (most are volunteer coaches). Our Coach will be the unbiased decision maker for all things. Line up order, positions, who is on the team, etc. 

We have 2 practices each week, lessons included to ensure each player has the additional time they need to improve or work on a new skill.

For tournaments when scheduled we know the general area it will be located, but find out Saturdays game time and confirmed location the Thursday prior. AFTER all of the games are complete Saturday, we will get the location and time for Sunday’s games. With GOB tournaments we are guaranteed 4 games total and most tournaments will be in Apopka or Altamonte with the rare exception of new Smyrna beach. When we advance to USSSA we are only guaranteed 3 games and each spectator will have an entry fee of about $10 each day. These tournaments can be all over the state of Florida, but we will have a team meeting prior to scheduling tournaments that require real traveling to confirm it works for all players.

Our monthly fee is currently $175 for 8U and $200 for 9U. Most teams with volunteers are $180-$220, we pride ourselves in keeping the cost as low as we can with professional training and extras.

The monthly fee covers 2 two hour practices, indoor facilities, insurance and two tournaments per month. 

Uniforms are included in the signup fee of $425. You will receive a practice jersey, 2 uniform jerseys, 2 pants, socks if you chose knickers, hat and belt. As well as custom boombah rolling bat bag.

We have indoor hitting practice in our new facility opening January1st off of Orange ave & Taft Vineland and field practice at south orlando babe Ruth. 

We are starting with GOB tournaments and will advance to USSSA.

Absolutely! We love the kids wanting more, but we do ask that the orlando rays come first and are the priority to other teams and it is not too much for your player. No one wants to be burnt out. 

We do ask the tournament directors to schedule our Saturday games later in the day so if you have another commitment it will work, however the request is not guaranteed. 

We want the kids to be happy and have no issues working it out with you so you can do whats best for your family.

We have 2-3 head coaches there consistently each practice who do all the decision making, but we do have multiple parent assistant coaches that help with practice following the coaches drills and during games. It allows us to keep the price as low as possible and playtime fair.

We have a rule of a max 2 benches per game, unless there is a circumstance of behavior or injury. Each player learns 2-3 positions and that is their focus. We do not have a rule over if they can play that position a max number of times or where they go.
